Burma and the web
Friday, October 5th, 2007I just came up with a new topic idea for my master thesis: the burmese situation as it has come to be seen and observed by the west. I believe that the web (blogs, youtube etc.) has played a very important role in the propagation of information about Burma in the last weeks. The master thesis would try to trace back the information flow and show how the web has been used by the different parties involved in the process. In contrast to the other topics proposed so far, the center of the thesis would rather be a topic (”Burma”) than a technical object, although strictly speaking the web could be considered as the technical object in this case.
